D Smoke, winner of the Netflix show Rhythm & Flow hosted by Cardi B, Chance the Rapper and T.I., has dropped off his latest project Black Habits.
Billed as the followup to his 2019 debut EP Inglewood High, D Smoke has enlisted Snoop Dogg for “Gaspar Yanga,” Jill Scott and Iguocho for “Sunkissed Child,” Jackie Gouche for “Black Habits I,” Davion Farris for “Fly,” SiR for “Lights On” and “Closer to God” and Ari Lennox for “Real Body.” The bilingual rapper offers introspective lyricism and flexible flows over genre-crossing musical backdrops, signaling a bright future ahead.
