Bots Force StrangeLove Skateboards to Cancel Deluxe Packaging Nike SB Collab Release
Sneaker bots took two minutes to ruin the scheduled drop.
In a statement on Instagram, StrangeLove Skateboards announced that it would be canceling the release of the deluxe packaging it had prepared for its Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration.
The statement reveals that some eager customers got a hold of the product page ahead of the drop time and created a disturbance with the ever-prevalent sneaker bots. In just two minutes, the bots ruined the shop’s original intention to get pairs into the hands of loyal and supportive customers forcing the cancellation. Priced at $100 USD, the StrangeLove Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low will release at SB stockists like The Berrics’ Canteen on February 7, and Nike SNKRS on February 8.
