'90s Favorite Dunkaroos Are Returning This Year
Currently only available in Canada.

Looking to deliver more ’90s nostalgia, General Mills recently announced plans to bring back Dunkaroos in the United States. Previously only available in Canada, the dip and dunk snack originally launched in 1992 will return to shelves later this year.
The cafeteria staple will be making its highly requested comeback in its beloved Dunkaroos flavor Vanilla Cookies and Vanilla Frosting with Rainbow Sprinkles. Although not much more information has been revealed, General Mills has unveiled some new packaging that utilizes some truly ’90s patterns and tones associated with Dunkaroos. One element missing from the re-release does seem to be the beloved slam-dunk mascot, Sydney the Kangaroo.
Catch a statement from General Mills regarding the return of Dunkaroos below.
“For those who grew up in the ‘90s, the original cookie-frosting combo represents the taste, color and fun of being a kid during that decade. We know there’s a lot of love for Dunkaroos, and fans everywhere have been asking for it. We’re excited to help ‘90s kids relive all the best parts of childhood.”
