Although it’s only a single digit away from the iconic 574, New Balance‘s 575 is vastly different than its famed predecessor — and now it’s been presented in a “Recount” colorway. Made in England, the “Recount” combines a hike-ready construction with premium materials, making for a silhouette that’s equally at home on a rural hike or an urban stroll.

Offered in purple, navy, yellow and teal, the design’s bold mix of disparate hues is a nod to New Balance’s past collaborations. Purple mesh and navy blue suede collide artfully on the base and overlays, while yellow suede on the midfoot serves as an intermediary. Pops of aqua teal on the heel tab and white midfoot “N” logo’s trim add a touch of tropical style, with hi-vis reflective material on toebox and throat ensuring visibility.

Special tongue badges add further to the trail-ready detailing and the two-tone white/grey midsole is made of New Balance’s REVlite foam for comfort. A Vibram outsole with patented Megagrip technology rounds things off.

The New Balance 575 “Recount” is available now at retailers like END, with a price point of $165 USD.

If technical running kicks are your thing, be sure to take a look at adidas‘s 4D Run 1.0 in a new “Footwear White/Core Black” colorway.
