Green Day Releases Energetic 13th Studio Album 'Father of All Motherfuckers'
The punk rock veterans’ shortest album to date.

Punk rock veterans Green Day have dropped off their newest record, Father of All Motherfuckers. Their 13th studio album overall, the 10-track project marks their shortest LP yet, clocking in at a short 26 minutes and dethroning 39/Smooth’s 31-minute length.
Experimenting on a new sound, the revered band drew inspiration from soul, Motown and glam rock to offer their take on rebellious and unforgivingly honest lyricism — a songwriting formula that has done them good over the years. The sonic elements, however, create a completely new space for the 34-year-old band to explore and refresh their own palates. They’ve made it very clear that they’re not here to offer a modern version of American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown, let alone create a commentary on the political condition of the US, but instead release a narrative of their surroundings and the internal dialogue that gets lost in today’s tense environment.
