ZYRUS Engineering LP1200 Strada Is the 1200 HP "Un"-Huracán

Somehow, it’s still road legal.

ZYRUS Engineering introduces its latest tuned build – the LP1200 Strada, a track-focused rebuild created atop a Lamborghini Huracán LP640-4 that painstakingly brings the already-blistering-quick sports car to new limits.

To the untrained eye, the LP1200 Strada could look just like a long-tailed, wide-bodied kit slapped over the “common” Lamborghini supercar, but ZYRUS Engineering has created the LP1200 to be much more than that. For starters, the car began life as the high-strung track-oriented LP640-4 to begin with, and the Norwegian tuners somehow were able to strip 78kg — more than 170 lbs — out of its featherweight carbon fiber body. To achieve this, the rebuild replaced 600 parts from the original car with ZYRUS curated materials and pieces, and the reconstruction was done by hand, of course.

Power-wise, the LP1200 stays true to its name, offering 1200 horsepower for track use, while at the push of a button the power can be restricted to a “more reasonable” 900 hp on the streets. Its extreme aerodynamics also plays well with the immense power, as 2010kg (4431 lbs) of downforce will keep the LP1200 Strada glued to the pavement, but only when the driver is reaching at least 200 kmph, or 124 mph. Nevertheless, with all its abilities, ZYRUS prides itself to maintaining the car’s legality for the road.

All of this technology and advancement comes at a price, with the ZYRUS LP1200 Strada starting at €595,000 EUR, or approximately $726,940 USD. With the car, a track day familiarization package is included, which bundles the ZYRUS team with the car to fully educate the owner on its capabilities and limits.
