McLaren Unveils the Fastest Two-Seater It Has Ever Built
The Sabre carries a staggering 824 horsepower.

McLaren has just unveiled its fastest two-seater ever built.
Named the Sabre, the brand new hypercar boasts a whopping 824 horsepower — 20 horsepower more than the McLaren Elva — and 590 pound-feet of torque thanks to a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. While the automaker hasn’t revealed any acceleration stats, it says the car’s top speed comes in at 218 mph and is more powerful than any other non-hybrid model from McLaren.
On top of pure performance, the car is also extremely limited, with only 15 made. Each of them has been designed and extensively personalized by McLaren Special Operations for the American market, but the company says some of its features may not pass European or Asian homologation requirements, including certain aerodynamic elements.
There’s currently no pricing information for the Sabre.
Elsewhere in the automotive world, Apple is reportedly developing its own electric car for production in 2024.
