UFC and Lucky Gi Pay Homage to UFC 1 and BJJ With Limited-Edition Gi
Featuring the original UFC logo throughout.

The UFC along with Lucky Gi are taking it all the way back to the beginning — UFC 1, November 12, 1993. UFC was launched with the original goal to find “The Ultimate Champion” by staging a single-night tournament featuring the best athletes skilled in the various disciplines of all martial arts, including karate, boxing, kickboxing, wrestling, sumo, jiu-jitsu, and other combat sports. On that night, UFC Hall of Famer Royce Gracie was crowned as UFC’s first champion at UFC 1 and subsequently introduced Brazilian jiu-jitsu to the world of MMA.
Twenty-seven years later, UFC is now a global brand and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, along with its iconic Gi, are world-renown and recognized by fans and practitioners around the world. To recognize this historic event, UFC x Lucky Gi have released a commemorative Gi with 550 micro-pearl weave construction, a heavy-weight UVA foam collar, 12oz drill pants, a triple gusset crotch, and is branded throughout with UFC’s original logo.
Priced at $350 USD, the UFC x Lucky “The Beginning” gi is limited to just 300 pieces and can be found over at the UFC store.
