'Pokémon' and thisisneverthat Reunite for FW20 Collection
Featuring Pikachu, Charizard, Gengar and many more Gen-1 Pokémon.
Following the launch of their relationship a few months back, Pokémon and thisisneverthat have come together once again for a Fall/Winter 2020 collection sequel release. Aside from featuring Pikachu, Charizard and Gengar, the latest range builds on the phrase “Gotta Catch Em’ All” with a focus on all 151 Generation-1 Kanto region Pokémon featured in the original series.
Leading the Pokémon x thisisneverthat II collaboration is a varsity jacket style that comes in Pikachu and Charizard options that highlights the Pokédex information for the species. The design continues on a series of hoodies that accompanies crewneck sweaters that utilize the iconic tones of Ash Ketchum’s faithful sidekick and references the iconic “Choose One!” start of Pokémon Red/Blue. The standout T-shirt style features the “Gotta Catch Em’ All” phrase bannered over a detailed overview of all the Gen-1 Pokémon laid out.
Aside from accompanying caps and beanies, thisisneverthat has also put together a messenger bag, Apple iPhone and AirPods cases, keychain plushes, key charms, socks, necklace and dog walking harness/leah for a diverse range of accessories. While home items like a “Gotta Catch Em’ All” poster, rugs, pillows, mugs and a Gengar incense chamber round up the collaboration.
