Nike Daybreak Arrives in Cool-Toned "Armory Blue"
Mixing sea and sky-themed blue hues.

Originally released as a marathon shoe in 1979, Nike‘s Daybreak has seen a resurgence as a casual favorite over the past few years thanks to clean in-line colorways, hybrid models like the OverBreak SP and compelling collaborations with brands like UNDERCOVER. Now, the sleek, waffle-soled sneaker is back once again in a cool-toned “Armory Blue” colorway.
Uppers and tongues alike are constructed of traditional smooth nylon, here which is dressed in a light sky blue color reminiscent of the UNC Tar Heels. Contrast and support alike are provided by rich navy suede mudguards, heel overlays and eyestays for a sea-and-sky mix of blue hues. Swooshes are done up in stark navy blue leather, and old-school Nike Sportswear hits appear on the white leather heel tab and white tongue tag alike. Down below, trim white EVA foam midsoles work with a Bill Bowerman-approved black waffle rubber outsole to round off the look.
The Nike Daybreak “Armory Blue” is set to release via Nike SNKRS and select Swoosh stockists on December 16. The retail price is set at an even $100 USD.
