Russell Athletic has crafted shaggy fleece jackets and coats exclusively for Japanese retailer SHIPS JET BLUE. One is a more standard hooded zip-up while the other offers a special collar and a long, trench coat-like fit, but each is designed with one main goal in mind: to keep the wearer warm and comfortable during the chilly winter months ahead.

First up is the Boa Fleece Zip Hoodie. Available in “Charcoal Grey” and “Camel,” the Boa features longhaired fleece construction with a nylon, zip closure chest pocket — contrasting black on the “Charcoal Grey” and tonal on the “Camel” — plus zipper hand pockets and a beefy hood for extra warmth. Next is the Big Silhouette Boa Fleece. Where its hooded counterpart used a more shaggy fleece, the Big Silhouette opts for a fine microfleece construction, and is available in “Dark Grey,” “Black” and “Khaki.” Apart from its divergence in material, it also features an elongated body that falls close to the wearer’s knees, plus a cardigan-like V collar. Contrasting piping and double zippers add further to the build, which is completed by zipper-equipped hand pockets and chest pockets.

Both styles are available at SHIPS JET BLUE now, with the fleece zip hoodie retailing at ¥8,910 JPY (approximately $86 USD) and the “big silhouette” fleece set at ¥17,930 JPY (approximately $172 USD). Prices are inclusive of tax.
