New Balance Uses Classic Colorblocking for 327 "Primary Pack"
Red, blue and yellow-accented takes on the wildly popular lifestyle silhouette.

A modern interpretation of ’70s athletic footwear, New Balance‘s 327 has risen to become one of 2020’s most popular new silhouettes. Now, the sleek and stylish lifestyle sneaker that reinterprets NB’s classic 320 is set to cap an eventful year off with a three-shoe “Primary Pack.” Mixing stately materials with — you guessed it — primary-colored accents, the assemblage supplies a trifecta of appealing styles with pops of red, blue or yellow, the first of which is modeled above by singer Harry Hudson.
The base for each design is a crisp white leather upper with perforated detailing, in the center of which sits a large tonal N logo. This graphic embellishment is rimmed with each shoe’s accent color, which also appears on the fanged suede mudguard and the heel. Tan suede is placed on all three styles’ eyestays, and each is finalized by a trim midsole with rubberized lugs that rise up onto the heel, a detail that pulls from the heritage 355 trail runner. When discussing the New Balance 327, Hudson said “My style is pretty unconventional which is why I love this collection so much. The simple primary colors compliment whatever random wardrobe vibe I’m feeling that day.”
Look for the New Balance 327 “Primary Pack” to release on the New Balance webstore come December 12, with each pair priced at $120 USD.
