Following their last link-up back in August, Haroshi, Karimoku and Medicom Toy are back at it again for another BE@RBRICK collaboration to ring in the new year. This partnership is announced hot off the heels of Medicom Toy’s team up with atmos for a glossy white BE@RBRICK rendition.

Japanese artist Haroshi is notorious for his his carefully-layered art pieces that are constructed from thin slices of discarded painted skate decks. Alongisde Karimoku and Medicom Toy, he brings that very same design language back to this new project, only this time delivering a twist in its aesthetic.

Two pieces are included in this capsule, both of which have been ornamented with multi-colored layering patterns, against a light woodgrain backdrop. Both installments feature an array of blue, yellow, green, red, and orange accents, but deviate in the way the hues are pronounced and ordered. Contrary to the three parties’ last collection which was styled with horizontal graphics, these pieces position its patterns in vertical format.

These home-ready toys will arrive in the bigger 400% size, and will retail for ¥396,000 (approx. $3906 USD). Medicom Toy is launching these via raffle that will run until January 9, 2021.
