Mark Your Calendars, the adidas YEEZY 700 V3 "Clay Brown" Is Coming

As the world gears up for the release of Kanye West and adidas‘ YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Sand Taupe,” the prolific duo has announced that December will be bringing yet another YEEZY sneaker to the table: the 700 V3 “Clay Brown.”

In a similar vein to the aforementioned “Sand Taupe” pair, this 700 V3 presents an upper perfect for the winter months ahead. In fact, its black monofilament engineered mesh design has been intersected with “Clay Brown” stripes that follow the contours of the shoe, and as a result deliver a colorway very similar to 2016’s “SPLY-350”-branded 350 V2 in “Black/Copper.”

This pair is very different from the “Safflower,” “Arzareth,” and “Azael” pairs it follows, but it of course features plenty of the same eye-catching design elements. A black-tinted TPU cage runs all around the shoe’s upper, while solid black mesh now features on the mid-panel in place of the former pairs’ semi-translucent piece.

Elsewhere, the new YEEZY sports a black inner bootie-style sock liner that becomes the tongue, subsequently working its way down the shoe to become the toe piece where you’ll find 3M details and a rubberized toe cap. And lastly, the now-signature rounded sole unit has been finished in black, wrapping around the shoe to provide the comfort of PU inside an EVA foam shell and without BOOST, unlike other YEEZY pairs in the ‘Ye-designed division. A gum outsole rounds out the entire look.

The adidas YEEZY 700 V3 “Clay Brown” is set to release on December 21 exclusively via the adidas app for £170 GBP (approx. $230 USD). Take a closer look at the pair above.
