'Yuri!!! on ICE' Drops First Teaser for Upcoming Feature Film 'ICE ADOLESCENCE'
Victor makes his Olympic debut.
After a long wait and much anticipation, Yuri!!! on ICE has finally released the first teaser for its upcoming feature film, ICE ADOLESCENCE.
As its name suggests, the movie will follow the early years of some of the beloved anime‘s characters, and helming the fresh trailer is a young Victor Nikiforov, who we see making his Olympics debut at the age of 17. While information regarding its full plot remain scarce and no official release date has been announced, the studio has nonetheless reassured fans that the production team is still hard at work despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“The production of YURI!!! on ICE the movie: ICE ADOLESCENCE is still ongoing with the aim of further enriching the film,” a statement from the company reads. “However, we have not yet reached the stage where we can announce the release date. Our team will continue to work diligently to deliver a film and share our unwavering love and dedication for skating. We deeply apologize to all fans for the circumstances and ask for generous understanding.”
