Despite the iPhone 12 models having launched only just last month, Apple enthusiasts and fans are already looking forward to the iPhone 13, and now Youtuber and Apple leaker Jon Prosser is back with more rumors regarding next year’s model.
“Ever since the introduction of MagSafe, people have started to speculate that perhaps the iPhone 13 — the next iPhone, whatever they call it — will be entirely portless,” Prosser says, referencing some of his insider sources. “Well the answer to that is yes, and also no… Not all iPhones next year will be portless, but one will be.” He added: “Either way, the transition is happening. MagSafe is the bridge between Lightning and [an alternative], and it’s also the way that Apple can keep things somewhat proprietary without giving in to something as universal as USB-C.”
Of course, it’s still extremely early on in the stages for Apple and the next generation of iPhones, so the tech giant hasn’t revealed any official details about the upcoming project yet, focusing instead on the current iPhone 12 models. For fans of the company and its products, definitely stay tuned for more updates to come.
Elsewhere in the tech world, NVIDIA’s RTX 3060 Ti graphics card is reportedly going to sell for $400 USD.
