Travis Scott Breaks Record as First Artist With Three No. 1 Debuts in One Year
As “FRANCHISE” opens on top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Travis Scott is officially the first and only artist to have three solo No. 1 debuts in the span of a year, as his latest single “FRANCHISE” with Young Thug and M.I.A. opened on top of this week’s Billboard Hot 100.
The debut of “FRANCHISE” follows “Highest In The Room” from October 2019 and “THE SCOTTS” featuring Kid Cudi from April 2020, and serves as his fourth overall No. 1 entry alongside “Sicko Mode” in 2018. In addition to his solo feat, the debut of “FRANCHISE” also ties Scott with Drake for the most chart-topping debuts for a male act in Hot 100 history.
Scott’s latest single garnered a total of 19.4 million U.S. streams and 98,000 sold (58,000 on cassette and CD; 40,000 digital downloads) in its opening week. “FRANCHISE” marks Young Thug’s second No. 1 and M.I.A.’s first.
