Run The Jewels Destroy Robot Cops in Animated "yankee and the brave (ep. 4)" Visual
A cut from the duo’s latest full-length, ‘RTJ4.’
Run The Jewels have dropped off an accompanying music video for “yankee and the brave (ep. 4).”
Directed by Sean Solomon and animated by Titmouse, the visual sees Killer Mike and El-P face off against a malicious robotic police force. “Killer Mike and El-P would f*** up some robot cops in real life, so I consider this animated music video for ‘Yankee and the Brave’ a documentary – that documents the future,” Chris Prynoski, Titmouse founder and president, said in a statement. “The prophecy of Run The Jewels has flowed through the Titmouse animators’ hearts and into their pencils. You can watch it before it happens as magical, moving drawings.”
“yankee and the brave (ep. 4)” appears on the duo’s latest full-length release RTJ4. The 11-track project was released a few days ahead of schedule to align with the nation-wide protests surrounding the murder of George Floyd, systemic racism and police brutality. DJ Premier, Greg Nice, 2 Chainz, Pharrell Williamsand Zack De La Rocha of Rage Against The Machine make special appearances.
