Brabus Tunes Mercedes-AMG's GT 63 S Into a $500k USD ROCKET 900 "One of Ten"

Brabus has built its most aggressive ROCKET ever, taking the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ and reworking the already impressive four-door saloon to give it 900 HP and a peak of 1,250 Nm of torque.

Although the Brabus ROCKET 900 produces 1,250 Nm of torque, this proved to be so much force that the car has to be electronically limited to producing 1,050 Nm of torque — a number that is still immensely powerful. To achieve this extra power, Brabus upped the Mercedes-AMG‘s V8 engine to 4.5 liters and added a new high-performance forced-induction system that, as a result, makes for 0-62 MPH in just 2.8 seconds and 186 MPH in just 23.9 seconds.

Because there is so much power, the car has to be electronically limited to 205 MPH because if it were to go any faster, the tires would not be able to handle it. To help harness and accentuate the new power, Brabus developed a fully custom carbon fiber wide body kit for the ROCKET 900, using a wind tunnel to create something that’s aggressive yet aerodynamic and functional.

The result provides a wider front end, tailor-made fender liners made from Kevlar, a reworked rear end with a prominent set of stainless-steel high-performance quad exhaust pipes with free-flow metal catalysts, and a large rear wing. The car sits on high-tech forged wheels in 21 and 22 inches at the front and rear respectively, and the finished product is painted in an exclusive “Stealth Grey” color — but other shades can also be chosen if required.
