Bloomingdale's Goes Extreme With New PUMA RS-X3 Models
Adding a bold lifestyle silhouette to its range of sneakers.
Bloomingdale’s is stocking a wide range of sneakers for the upcoming season, including the new PUMA RS-X³, a dynamic model that reinvents the popular style with exaggerated design details. The signature ’80s silhouette features super-soft RS foam cushioning and a bold, unapologetic appearance. Available for both men and women, the color-blocked option is just one of the many bold footwear styles that the retailer offers.
To create the all-new RS-X³ model, PUMA revamped its classic 1980 silhouette, reimagining its old-school technology and combining it with a bold mesh and synthetic upper. Using the RS, which stand for Running System, the shoe offers cushioning from the forefoot through the heel. The technology is dressed up to create a true lifestyle sneaker crafted from a textured mesh textile overlaid with leather panels at the toe box.
The men’s edition of the RS-X³ features a padded tongue and collar for optimal support, a suede upper and leather overlays with orange and green accents along the midsole. Rounding out the shoe is a pull tab tongue, fabric lining, PUMA’s classic rubber sole and branding at the tongue and heel. The women’s version maintains the same features but in a white and pink colorway with full lace closure, synthetic leather, bold TPU pieces in the midsole and lightweight PU paired with the special RS cushioning. The Formstripe on each sees a soft color hue and is detailed with zigzag stitching.
