André Saraiva's Neon Artworks Will Set the Mood for Your Space
A total of five luminous editions.
Global LED sign brand, Yellowpop, partnered up with celebrated Swedish-French artist, André Saraiva, on a limited edition collection. The exclusive collaboration consists of five diverse neon signs inspired by Saraiva’s original graffiti designs. The artist’s signature Mr. A character with its maniacal grin is observed in two of the luminous pieces alongside a rocket visual and works featuring the words “Amour” and “Love.”
“Neons are my shooting stars in the night of the cities. They make the magic start when the sun goes down and when I can go and paint the walls with a sexy glow. These neons are a tribute to those times,” said Andre Saraiva on the collaboration.
Saraiva joins a long list of artists commissioned by Yellowpop to develop original designs for its neon editions. The label has teamed up with famed tattoo artist Girl Knew York and Berlin-based illustrator Emily Eldridge on previous installments.
“We’ve always been great fans of André’s vast work, from his street art to Le Baron and the hotels across the world. When the idea to begin collaborating with artists came up a year ago, André was the first person we thought about and contacted. We are very proud of this collaboration and it has surpassed all of our expectations,” said Jeremy Cortial & Ruben Grigri, founders of Yellowpop.
