IKEA Taps Byredo’s Ben Gorham for Candle Collaboration
Comprising floral, woody and fresh scents.
After announcing the rollout of its furniture buy-back and resell program, IKEA U.S. has unveiled its latest candle collaboration with Byredo founder Ben Gorham.
Entitled “OSYNLIG” — meaning “invisible” in Swedish — the forthcoming range is set to feature 13 candles split into floral, woody and fresh scents.
“Smell is a very relevant part of the home, and it creates a sense of comfort and security,” said Gorham on the collaboration. “We’re trying to develop a range of smells enforcing the idea that everyone has a different relationship to it, and nothing is right or wrong.”
Ranging from $4.99 to $24.99 USD, the Ben Gorham x IKEA “OSYNLIG” collection will be available to purchase via the IKEA U.S. webstore from November 1.
In other news, Globe and Pantone have linked up for a limited-edition deck collaboration.
