Nike's Air Max 1 Receives Finely Woven Cotton Uppers
Popping with blue and red tones.
Nike‘s Air Max 1 has been reimagined with delicate cotton uppers, another supple iteration of the classic silhouette following this year’s Nike By You x Pendleton partnership.
Placed at the top of the shoe’s tongue is blue “Nike” branding over a patch logo that rests above a set of crisp white laces. Popping out from the uppers’ monochromatic uppers, light salmon-toned cotton appear at the sidewalls, complemented by soft blue panels that cover the rear quarter. Smooth black full-grain leather show up at the collars, heel and toecap, while a white Swoosh, toebox and midsole round off the shoe’s vibrant design.
This Nike Air Max 1 iteration is currently available on Nike Japan’s website for $161 USD.
