Meek Mill Teases New Album Before End of 2020
The Philadelphia rapper’s last LP dates back to 2018’s ‘Championships.’
Meek Mill could be releasing his Championships follow-up sooner than expected.
The rapper took to Twitter to quickly connect with fans when someone brought up the question of when his new album is dropping. Mill replied nonchalantly, “This year lol,” and simply left it that. Fans were quick to either celebrate this “announcement” or tell him that he better be serious, considering the fact that his last full-length was released two years ago.
Mill’s released a string of singles this 2020 — “Letter to Nipsey” with Roddy Ricch, “Believe” featuring Justin Timberlake and the protest song “Otherside of America” — however, a new LP seemed to be nowhere in sight. In addition to his criminal justice reform work, the rapper also made his acting debut in the feature film Charm City Kings.
Stay tuned for more info on Meek Mill’s upcoming album.
