Carhartt WIP and 2G Reunite for Sorayama-Emblazoned Capsule
Marking their second collaboration this year.
Carhartt WIP and 2G have reunited for their second collaboration, following a lineup of T-shirts and long-sleeves from earlier this year. Featured is a concise series of workwear garments emblazoned with Hajime Sorayama‘s artful illustrations alongside bold “2G” branding.
Leading the capsule is a vibrant iteration of Carhartt’s classic OG Chore Coat, coming in either a brown or dark navy colorway. The silhouette features supple corduroy collars, complemented by metal buttons along the central closure and reflective strips at the sleeve cuffs, right chest pocket and hemline. A large Sorayama print is placed at the back, while “2G” and “Carhartt” co-branding is seen at the upper left chest — the capsule also includes a version of the jacket without the Sorayama print at the back for those who prefer a more minimal look. Other pieces like the button-up work shirts, five-panel caps and beanies round off the concise assemblage.
The first drop of Carhartt WIP and 2G’s 2020 capsule will be available on October 23, followed by the rest of the capsule on October 30 on Kaeru Parco’s website, ranging from $28 – $426 USD.
