LG‘s latest feat of ingenuity comes shortly after the sale of its television with a rollable screen, in the form of the LG WING smartphone. Reminiscent of the exciting Samsung Anycall days with Lee Hyori, this new smartphone foregoes the recent folding screen trend, but instead stack two screens on top of each other. The top 6.8-inch screen can be rotated clockwise 90 degrees to reveal a second 3.9-inch screen.
This concept unlocks a world of possibilities for entertainment and productivity. In Swivel Mode, steamers can enjoy an uninterrupted feed while interacting with the bottom screen. In Maps, users are still able to view a full-size map while chatting and making calls as well. Notifications are no longer an issue when watching videos or movies on your mobile as the bottom acts as a handle that displays all the information of your phone along with the play button controls, while the panoramic screen at the top stays fixed.
The LG WING features a Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 765G 5G mobile platform, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, a 64MP F1.8 standard camera, 13MP ultra-wide camera, and front 32MP F1.9 camera. Catering to the online creative, LG has also included a gimbal mode, motion stabilization, an LG Creator Kit, and even an ASMR recording mode. Head over to LG to learn more.
