Listen to Nicki Minaj Remix Sada Baby's Viral Anthem "Whole Lotta Choppas"
“They wanna see me do my dance, in these thousand-dollar pants…”
Sada Baby‘s “Whole Lotta Choppas” has been as viral a song as any on social media this year thanks to a push by trending TikTok pre-teens. It was only a matter of time before the Detroit rapper garnered the attention he truly deserved, but the way in which he rose to prominence is still an unexpected twist in an already unpredictable year in music.
Now Nicki Minaj has jumped on the “Whole Lotta Choppas” Remix, her first guest appearance on a song since the birth of her first child last month. CoalCashBlac keeps the production credit on this one, and of course the widespread chorus remains. “They wanna see me do my dance, in these thousand-dollar pants, don’t disrespect me and my gang, Bang! Whole Lotta Choppas on ya *a**…” Nicki even joins in to recite the lines.
The “Whole Lotta Choppas” phenomenon kicked off with a dance created by @ohbukster on TikTok, leading to the creation of over 5.8 million videos and 1.3 billion sound plays on the social media platform. But Sada Baby was well on his way to being one of the most original voices in hip-hop dating back to 2017’s Skuba Sada and last year’s Bartier Bounty. Sada kicked off this year with his Brolik mixtape and then dropped both Skuba Sada 2 and Bartier Bounty 2.
