Dwayne Johnson Announces Cast of 'Young Rock'
Three actors to play him at three different ages.

At the beginning of this year, Dwayne Johnson announced a new autobiographical sitcom on NBC named Young Rock, and now the highest-paid actor in Hollywood has revealed the cast members that’ll be involved with the upcoming series.
Most notably, three different actors will play Johnson at three of his most formative ages, ranging from 10 years old to 20. Adrian Groulx will portray The Rock at the age of 10, Bradley Constant will play him at 15 years old, and Marco Polo‘s Uli Latukefu will take on the Johnson between the ages of 18 and 20. As for his family, Ana Tuisila will play Johnson’s grandmother, Stacey Leilua will portray his mother Ata Johnson, and Joseph Lee Anderson will play his late father Rocky Johnson.
Along with the cast announcement, Johnson also penned a special note in honor of his father, who died earlier this year, dedicating the pilot episode of the show to him. “As you guys know my dad passed away earlier this year so this role is a special one and our first episode is dedicate to him,” Johnson writes. “My dad was a true trail blazer and broke color barriers all across our country in the 60s, 70s & 80s. One half of the first black tag team champions (with Tony Atlas) my pops was a bad dude in the game. I miss him.”
There’s currently no release date for Young Rock, so those interested should stay tuned for more updates to come.
In other entertainment news, the release date for No Time to Die has been pushed back once again.
