Fivio Foreign Taps Polo G and Kenny Beats for "Bop It" Music Video
Sampling the classic kids game.
Favio Foreign tapped Polo G and Kenny Beats for his single’s music video “Bop It,” which is expected to arrive on his upcoming debut album B.I.B.L.E. The footage above showcases the trio having summertime fun with Super Soaker-like water guns in a mansion filled with women.
The track is heavily inspired by the Hasbro children’s game of the same name, which poises players to execute familiar commands in the track’s sample like “bop it,” “twist it,” and “pull it.” The inspiration for the song came from several memes about the artist himself. “I kept seeing this viral meme of me on Twitter and Instagram, they was saying I rap like a ‘bop it,’ had my face on it too,” Favio explained in a press release. “I was in the studio and Kenny Beats was like ‘I’m gonna give you a beat like that.’ Polo got on it and we turned lemons into lemonade.”
The track is also accompanied by a dance tutorial led by TDott Woo especially for the single and the TikTok crowd.
