Urwerk Releases Latest Special Project, the UR-111C
A revolutionary new approach.

Urwerk unveils the UR-111C featuring a new interface. Departing from its signature wandering-hour indication and a sequel to the UR-CC1 King Cobra’s linear minute display, Urwerk tops its past micro-mechanics achievements with a daring upgrade: employing a roller to perform the functions of the crown.
Dropping the conventional crown, the roller integrates into the top of the case. While thumbing to wind the watch brings new sensations, Urwerk boasts an impeccable precision that brings full control over the winding stem. The sleek design also offers an alternative to set time without a crown – simply swing out a lever from the side of the case. Linear display aside, the UR-111C’s digital seconds comes in two alternatively-mounted wheels seamlessly showing ten and five second intervals. Each openwork seconds wheel weighs a tiny 0.018 grams (0.025g with numerals) — this miniature lacework in metal comes about thanks to the delicate LIGA process.
The UR-111C comes in three finishes – Polished Steel, Gunmetal Finish and Titanium with Black PVD coating – each exclusively limited to 25 pieces. Check out watch specialists, The Hour Glass, to pick one up a model for yourself.
