The North Face Drops Form-Fitting Velocity Knit GORE-TEX Footwear
Waterproof and breathable.
After collaborating with British Millerain for a series of all-weather performance gear, The North Face has returned with its latest set of weatherized footwear. Featured is the Velocity Knit GORE-TEX Invisible Fit, a waterproof silhouette that’s both light and highly breathable.
The shoes come in black, gray and beige colorways, in low and high-top silhouettes. Both versions feature ribbed collars that hug the ankle for a snug fit. Most of the body of the uppers are kept clean and minimal, shining a light on the intricate knit textures of the GORE-TEX membrane. In addition to its waterproof utility, the shoes are wrinkle-free due to the unique elasticity of the technical fabric. “The North Face” branding appears at the rear quarters, complemented by a tiny logo tab and a standard heel pull at the back. All of these features sit above a light Vibram XS Trek midsole for optimal cushioning and support.
The Velocity Knit Mid Gore-Tex Invisible Fit is currently available at Goldwin’s website, ranging from $180 – $190 USD.
Elsewhere, ASICS has updated its GEL-Nandi 360 Trail Runner in “Carrier Grey/Smoke Blue.”
