THE CONVENI, Fujiya Co. & Medicom Toy Link for Sweet-Toothed Collectibles

Following the release of its Breaking Bad BE@BRICKs, Medicom Toy is linking up with Hiroshi Fujiwara‘s THE CONVENI and Japanese food chain Fujiya Co. for a variety of Peko-chan collectibles. Included in the range, which employs the confectionery brand’s sweet-toothed mascot, is a variety of 100% and 400% BE@RBICK sets alongside two iterations of the toy brand’s soft vinyl figurines.

The BE@RBRICK sets arrive in two unique versions with two color schemes utilized for each. The first of the versions is a traditional usage of Peko-chan, showcasing a normal colored version and a black and white iteration. The next set employs the brand’s flowery motifs used on the brand’s various products, equally coming in a colored version donning a white base with pink and blue colors representing the brand, as well as a black and white version. The soft vinyl collectibles mimic Peko-chan using a geometric blocking design, once again employing colored and gray-scale iterations. All pieces have been emblazoned by fragment design’s signature Lightning Bolt logo, with the rear donning Fujiya Co.’s Peko-chan logo stacked on top of text reading “THE CONVENI.”

All collectibles are expected to arrive later this month. All pieces are priced at ¥15,000 JPY (approximately $140) and will be sold via Fujiya Co.’s webstore, THE CONVENI’s webstore and storefront, as well as Medicom Toy’s directly-operated stores.
