SOPHNET. and Danner Unveil Smooth Black Leather Postman Shoes
Trek-inspired details atop sartorial footwear.

As of late, Danner has been busy with a myriad of collaborations, teaming up with labels like White Mountaineering and hobo. This time, the label has called in SOPHNET. for a sleek black pair of postman shoes, a refreshing departure from Danner’s usual rugged footwear molds.
This particular shoe is imbedded with vibrant trek-inspired details, offering the sartorial silhouette a modern look that feels slightly technical and minimal. Starting at the top of the shoe, SOPHNET.’s scorpion logo is seen on a small tab placed at the side of the upper tongue. One distinctive highlight of the shoe is the flat yellow trekking laces that pop out from the shoe’s patent leather base. The laces see a contrasting striped pattern and are looped through wide eyelets panels that come with reinforced seams around the throat. Apart from the upper facing panels, the rest of the shoe is kept clean without any extra seams, except for the backstay. In addition, “Danner” branding is subtly debossed at the rear quarter. All of these details sit atop a tonal midsole that’s moderately raised at the heel and sees articulation around the forefoot.
The SOPHNET. x Danner Black Leather Postman Shoes will be available at SOPH.’s website on January 25.
