Pixar Shares Trailer for New 'Toy Story' Short Film 'Lamp Life'
Coming to Disney+ later this month.
Last year’s Toy Story 4 saw the return of porcelain maiden Bo Peep, who hadn’t appeared in the franchise since the second installment from 1999. Making a return 20 years later, the damsel in distress’ homecoming to the big screen marked a transformation into a crook-wielding heroine. Disney+’s latest short film titled Lamp Life, will reveal how Bo became a lost toy during that period.
In the newly released official trailer, Bo teases what happened. “Overall, life on a baby lamp isn’t that exciting — or maybe too exciting,” she jests. “Which took us on quite the unexpected journey.” Lamp Life will showcase Bo as she battles electrical fires and follows her fun-filled adventures through antique stores, snowstorms, frat parties, and more alongside her trusty pals.
You can watch the official trailer for Lamp Life above — the short film begins streaming via Disney+ on January 31. Toy Store 4 is currently up for Animated Feature at the Oscars, with the winner being announced on Sunday, February 9.
In other entertainment news, David Lynch has shared a new short film on Netflix.
