Kiko Kostadinov and CamperLab Reunite For Whimsical "Together" Collection
Drawing from British pop culture and traditional horse riding boots.
Partners since 2018, Kiko Kostadinov and Camper Lab have reunited for a whimsical new “Together” collection that draws from British pop culture and horse riding boots. While most of the duo’s past efforts have focused on stark and serious hiking-style footwear, these patent leather-equipped Mauro silhouettes are significantly more light-hearted and playful than their predecessors.
Towering equestrian-themed boots are rife with bold colors and constructed of polished Italian leather. Warm yellow and cool sky blue panels are contrasted with more serious grey and tan shades, while a side zipper ensures easy on/off and a rubber outsole promises grip. Meanwhile, the low-top iteration features a significantly shorter cut and a simplified color scheme. Split 50/50 between sky blue on the lateral side and stark black on the medial side, the slip-on design is equal parts earthy and airy, accented by slight ridged detailing towards the collar. Kostadinov and Camper’s marks are both stamped on the insole in silver, with the same rubber outsole as the boot finalizing the look.
This latest collaboration between the Bulgarian-born, London based designer and Spanish footwear brand is available now on the Camper webstore, with the boot retailing for £430 GBP (approximately $565 USD) and the shoe priced at £235 GBP (approximately $308 USD).
