Combining a trail ethos with the shape of a heritage running silhouette, adidas‘s Torsion TRDC is a compelling hybrid design — one that’s now surfaced in a vivid new “Tech Indigo” colorway. Bouncing between accents both muted and vibrant, the shoe is full of signature adidas Originals retro style, and it proffers the tech to match.
Texture and layers are the name of the game on the upper, which offers a rich indigo mesh base. This deep, dark bottom layer is quickly overlaid with wavy accents that range from tan on the toebox, forefoot and quarter to forest green on the heel counter and midfoot. A light pink provides the hue for the fabric Three Stripes graphic while also appearing on the rope laces. Both of these pieces are contrasted with closely placed burgundy detailing. A forest green neoprene tongue and throat add technical trail styling, with a chunky black/ yellow adiPRENE midsole and toothed outsole completing the look.
The adidas Torsion TRDC “Tech Indigo” is available now at retailers like KITH, and is priced at $130 USD.
