adidas Revamps FYW 98 in Vivid "Glory Purple/Solar Green" and "Gray Two/Signal Coral"
Reviving the retro footwear piece.

Last month, adidas unveiled a clean tri-colored FYW 98, an evolved mold of the brand’s former EQT Solution that debuted back in 1998. Enlivening the spirit of the silhouette’s retro aesthetics, the German footwear giant has returned with two bold OG renditions: “Glory Purple/Solar Green” and “Gray Two/Signal Coral.”
The former colorway comes with dark purple highlights, complemented by striking lime green accents throughout. Set atop a white mesh tongue, adidas’ Three Stripes logo is embroidered over a small suede patch, followed by textured purple panels around the forefoot — additional “adidas” branding appears at the upper quarters and throat line. One distinctive detail is the EQT motif that’s been etched onto the heel, complemented by three large ovular stripes that gloss over the rear quarters and sidewalls. The “Gray Two/Signal Coral” counterpart comes with all the same design features, except it embraces a bright teal-gray-peach color scheme. Both versions boast a chunky adiPRENE midsole, equipped with TORSION technology for improved stability and traction.
The adidas FYW 98 “Glory Purple/Solar Green” and “Gray Two/Signal Coral” are currently available at atmos’ website for $127 USD.
