Bun B, Young Dolph & Maxo Kream Drop Animation-Filled "In My Trunk" Visual
Revisiting Houston’s SLAB culture.
Bun B is revisiting his August 2019 Bun B Day EP with the music video release for “In My Trunk.” The visual expels on Houston hip-hop’s love for cars, expertly melding the chopped and screwed track alongside director Michael Artis’s showcasing of various old school SLABs (Slow, Low, And Bangin’ rides). Collaborators Young Dolph and Maxo Kream (the latter who also hails from Houston) join the UGK member as they travel in between reality and the virtual world.
“As an OG, it’s imperative that we make ourselves available to the next generation,” Bun recently shared. “We have to make sure we equip them with the knowledge to overcome their circumstance and beat the game. That always starts with the music. Being able to not only record with Dolph and Maxo but also give them some real game is absolutely necessary to expand the culture and the community.”
