Just a few days ago, sacai unveiled its Tokyo-exclusive Duffle Coat in collaboration with Japanese artist Haroshi. The label is back again with yet another exclusive release, this time for the opening of sacai’s Mitsukoshi Sakae Nagoya store. Featured are a set of deconstructed military-inspired jackets that sees a mix of shiny nylon fabrics and durable cotton textiles — a trench coat and MA-1 bomber.

The former silhouette sees an elongated cut that ends around the knees. It comes with standard lapels and an extra collar strap that can be buttoned over the neck when the lapels are flipped up. Four marble-toned buttons are placed at the upper front mid-section, complemented by a sleek nylon panel that sits just next to the central closure. In contrast to the muted front profile, the back of the coat comes entirely in nylon and even sees a bit of orange lining along the edges of the cuffs. The next piece is the flight jacket iteration. It boasts all the familiar designs of a traditional MA-1 bomber, except at the underarms and sides, where the areas have been reconstructed with cotton panels. The jacket is detailed with silver-toned hardware at the center and upper arm pocket, while two long drawcords around the torso round up the militaristic piece. Both silhouettes come in either olive or black.

sacai’s trench coat and bomber jacket will be exclusively available at its Nagoya Sakae Mitsukoshi store for $1,132 USD and $803 USD, respectively, on February 8.

In case you missed it, Children of the Discordance has unveiled its FW20 lookbook.
