'Rick and Morty' Release First Pringles Super Bowl Commercial
Things get very dystopian in this clip.
Following its previous collaboration for a “Pickle Rick” flavor, Adult Swim‘s smash-hit animated series Rick and Morty have debuted a new Pringles commercial due to air during the upcoming Super Bowl LIV. In the meta ad above, Rick and Summer are watching TV and making fun of a commercial about Pringles, which shows someone stacking different flavored chips in order to achieve a new flavor combination.
Morty suddenly arrives with several Pringles cans including the Pringles Pizza, Barbeque and Jalapeno crisps. He’s trying to convince everyone else to stack chips with him. It then dons on Rick that they are stuck in an actual commercial themselves. Many speculate this is just one of many Rick and Morty ads that will appear during the actual sporting event this weekend. Especially since footage seen in the preview did not showcase footage shown in an initial teaser that hit the internet previously.
Check out the ads above and below, then check out the trailer for Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell animated series.
