Parley Brings Recycled Ocean Plastics to adidas UltraBOOST 20 SB
Dressed in an elegant “Legend Ink” hue.
Parley for the Oceans and adidas are teaming up on the UltraBOOST 20 for the first time, presenting the high-tech runner in an elegant “Legend Ink.” Constructed partially of recycled ocean plastics, these new UltraBOOSTs are both sustainable and stylish, all without sacrificing any performance features.
Uppers are dressed in a navy hue so rich and dark that it almost looks black. This stylish knit-and-neoprene construction is accented by a static-like grey Three Stripes graphic that’s embroidered directly onto the synthetic midfoot cage and light periwinkle piping on the heel clip. A co-branded adidas Running/Parley for the Oceans graphic appears on the tongue.
Noticeable differences in the knit texture provide more than just looks too. Thanks to adidas’s new Tailored Fiber Placement tech, the upper has been adjusted to provide a custom fit — tighter in areas that need more support, looser in others to enhance breathability. Down below, a full-length white BOOST footbed and navy blue Continental rubber outsole finalize the stylings.
The Parley for the Oceans x adidas UltraBOOST 20 will release via the adidas webstore on January 26 for $180 USD.
