Billie Eilish's "everything i wanted" Music Video Pays Tribute To Her Brother Finneas
Featuring a late night car ride into the Pacific Ocean.
Billie Eilish has a lot on her plate. Not only was 2019’s WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP WHERE DO WE GO? one of the year’s most critically-acclaimed and well-received albums, but she was also one of Spotify’s most-streamed artists after dominating the charts. She thrived both in front of and behind the camera with her self-directed music video for “xanny”.
“everything i wanted” finds Billie back in the director’s chair once again with a dedication to her brother and close collaborator Finneas O’Connell. The visual opens up with a heartfelt message, “Finneas is my brother and my best friend. No matter the circumstance, we always have and always will be there for each other.” What follows is a dimly lit car ride in a Dodge Challenger SRT as Finneas sits emotionless in the passenger’s seat. Billie eventually drives off-road onto the beach and into the waters of the Pacific Ocean. The two hold hands as the car disappears into darkness.
Billie will also be performing the upcoming James Bond No Time to Die theme song and will take center stage at the 2020 GRAMMY Awards this weekend. Watch the music video for “everything i wanted” above.
