Following its military-inspired take on Converse’s Pro-Leather sneakers, Japanese label NEXUSVII has returned with new drops for SS20, this time in the form of well-crafted denim. Featured is the Patched 550 Indigo and Damaged 550 Indigo, each intricately distressed and detailed by hand.
Made up of a series of richly dyed patches, the Patched 550 Indigo juxtaposes a variety of shades ranging from light blue to navy. The piece sees a semi-tapered construction strewn together by asymmetrical seams and patches. Horizontal patches are placed at the top half of the garment, followed by long vertical panels below the knees. As a finishing note, thin star-shaped stitching is placed at each back pocket. The other pair has been accented with heavy distressing along the upper legs, showcasing a glimpse of the inner layer fabric against the light blue exterior wash. Like the previous garment, two stars are etched at the back pockets, but the rest of the jeans are kept clean, while brass rivets round up the design.
The NEXUSVII Patched 550 Indigo and Damaged 550 Indigo are currently available at HAVEN’s website for $414 USD and $545, respectively.
