J Balvin Shares First New Music of 2020 With the "MORADO" Visual
A continuation of the Reggaeton superstar’s ‘Seeing Music In Colors’ series.
Fresh off a stellar international campaign that garnered a GRAMMY Nomination for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album, Colombian superstar J Balvin returns with his first release of the new year to continue his ongoing Seeing Music In Colors series. The “MORADO (Purple)” single features production and co-writing duties from frequent collaborator SKY while the eye-popping visuals come courtesy of Collin Tilley. Purple emanates throughout the offering, from surreal violet tigers, furs, and even paint dripping off of J Balvin as he maneuvers through the royal setting. Takashi Murakami also contributed additional artwork for the project.
The previous installment of the series, “BLANCO”, was billed as a “hymn to Medellin” and found Balvin dressed and drenched in all white. J Balvin’s vibrant aesthetics continue here after his Arcoiris (‘Rainbow’) Tour recently wrapped.
Back in December, J Balvin teamed up with Kali Uchis for her first bilingual single in “Solita” in which Balvin also handled the majority of production duties.
