Following its Spring/Summer 2019 “White Noise” collection, Hyein Seo is now back with its latest seasonal range with an evocative lookbook.
Dubbed “Save Yourself,” the Fall/Winter 2019 collection sees the established South Korean label continue its distinct unisex expression of fashion. Accompanied by enigmatic video snippets, the multimedia visual introduces the label’s latest collection with a new class of creatives, which includes some of Seoul, South Korea’s talents to watch and faces from Hyein Seo’s atelier team.
Taking to sequestered halls, schoolyards and alleyways, uniforming stands out as an important inspiration for FW19. Preppy schoolboy and schoolgirl outfitting is defined by cropped blazers, oversized dress shirts, high waisted pleated skirts, billowy trousers and more.
To combat the cold-weather season, Hyein Seo has also prepared outerwear options like a down-padded Bomber Duffer Jacket, Smoker’s Duvet Coat and Fishtail Parka with a detachable bag. The label’s signature logo hardware cigarette pocket detail is utilized throughout the collection, offering garments a tinge of rebellious edge. Rounding up the range are accessories like a leather belt with a cigarette holder, cinched detail protective sleeve, scarf bag and bolo tie.
