Craig Green Drops Artfully Embroidered Poplin Anorak
Featuring anatomical motifs.

After collaborating on a set of bath robes with American hotel The Standard, Craig Green has returned with a new piece from his Spring/Summer 2020 collection, an artfully embroidered poplin anorak. In line with the designer’s anatomical SS20 concept, this particular piece has been etched with a series of abstract motifs that illustrate the human body.
The garment comes in a rich khaki palette, accented by navy panels and vibrant pop colors cast against its muted base. Threads of orange, blue, red and white are intricately embroidered over the front, arms and back, expressively depicting anatomical structures. The front of the piece features five contrasting white stars, with one placed just below the neck, two at the chest, one at the lower chest and one below the abdomen. At the back, the white stars appear at the yoke, highlighted above orange, red and blue outlines of the upper and lower back. Apart from the bold motifs, the garment comes with gloves, too, an accessory that can be detached from the inner cuffs. As a finishing note, the piece sees wide drawstrings at the hood and an elongated waist belt, which can be removed or tied up for different looks.
The Craig Green Embroidered Poplin Anorak is currently available at MATCHESFASHION for $909 USD.
Elsewhere, Yuni Ahn will be departing Maison Kitsuné.
