The Latest 'Birds of Prey' Trailer Sees Harley Quinn Getting the Gang Together
All scored to Björk’s “It’s Oh So Quiet.”
Warner Bros. Pictures released the second trailer for Margot Robbie’s upcoming Birds Of Prey And The Fantabulous Liberation Of One Harley Quinn. The footage above introduces us to Harley Quinn‘s situation following her break-up with The Joker (formerly played by Jared Leto, who will not be in this film.)
Now that he’s no longer in her life, several folks want her dead, especially Ewan McGregor‘s Black Mask and Chris Messina’s Victor Zsasz. Quinn then decides to align herself with some other women like Jurnee Smollet-Bell’s Black Canary and Mary Elizabeth Winstead’s Huntress, both are mutual enemies of the mob boss they plan to take down as a unit.
“He’s after all of us,” she tells the Birds of Prey. “You betrayed him. You killed his BFF. And you’re dumb enough to be building a case against him,” the latter of which she’s referring to officer Renee Montoya (Rosie Perez.) “So unless we all want to die very unpleasant deaths, we’re going to have to work together.”
Birds Of Prey comes to theaters on February 7, 2020.
In other entertainment news, seasons 3 and 4 of Donald Glover’s Atlanta will arrive in 2021.
