With another week we have yet another installment of our product drops series, this time marked by a host of standout releases. Leading the list is OAMC and fragment design‘s charitable collaboration and N.HOOLYWOOD‘s “REBEL FABRIC BY UNDERCOVER” Spring/Summer 2020 capsule collection.

Other standout collaborations include BAPE ‘s Alpha Industries MA-1 and N3-B capsule and the release Fear of God has prepared for AARMY‘s Los Angeles and New York pop-ups. Additional highlights include Pop Trading Company‘s SS20 collection, Veilance‘s debut Cambre offerings and the fourth drop of Cav Empt‘s SS20 range. Rounding up this week’s product drops is South Korean label Hyein Seo‘s SAVE YOURSELF book and merchandise that accompanies its Fall/Winter 2019 collective.

Cav Empt Drop 4 SS20 Collection

Back with the latest installment of its SS20 collection, Cav Empt has now readied a variety of light outerwear and sweatshirts that employ the brand’s iconic styling.

The highlight of the drop is the Overdye Possibilities Heavy Hoodie, which features an overdyed and stone bleached paneled construction, with Sk8thing’s characteristic graphic style showcased on the front and back in reflective ink. Accompanying light outerwear comes in the form of an Overdye Quilted Jacket in light blue, which features Thinsulate insulation to keep you cozy during the colder Spring nights. Rounding up the releasing is the Overdye Rotary Dial Crewneck in vibrant green, the C.E shop and website exclusive Patched Crew Neck with appliqué graphic patches on the front, and the Hood Zip Shirt Jacket in bio-washed flannel cotton.

Veilance Spring/Summer 2020 Cambre Denim Collection

After being teased back in 2019, Veilance has now finally premiered its debut denim collection. The Cambre selection serves as the Canadian label’s first foray into the sturdy textile, infusing reliable shells with the intricate high-spec construction that Veilance is known for.

The unique range encompasses two distinct silhouettes: a jacket and pants offering in black or a versatile “Lead” grey tone. Each piece is crafted from a functional Japanese cotton/poly blend that provides thermoregulating, drying and moisture-wicking properties while maintaining the fading and softening traits of denim. Veilance has also designed each item to complement the wearer’s ability to move naturally, with 3D ergonomic patterns utilized to create sharp silhouettes. Taped seams also allow for enhanced durability and a lighter weight design

BAPE x Alpha Industries Capsule Collection

Coming together once again, BAPE has teamed up with Alpha Industries on an MA-1 and N3-B capsule collection. Originally revealed at BAPE’s 25th-anniversary “BAPE XXV” exhibition in 2018, the jackets are done in the American clothing brand’s iconic “Replica Gray” and accented by a series of the Japanese brand’s iconic motifs.

Both jackets feature an array of unique details, including various prints and patches adorned alongside the front, sleeves, and back. The MA-1 bomber jacket features BAPE’s Shark iconography on the rear, with various other motifs found on the sleeves and front. The N3-B parka opts for a “No Windage Hold Off” patch on the rear side, with a bold “FUNTHERA MILITIA” printed just beneath.

Fear of God x AARMY Capsule

To mark AARMY‘s latest pop-up in Los Angeles and New York, Fear of God has crafted revamps of the emerging athletics company’s branded garments.

The hefty hoodie utilizes a black base to highlight the contrasting white prints on the rear and chest that express the fitness center’s recognizable all-caps logo. The layering piece is centered around FOG’s signature slouchy cuts and comes complete with the LA-based brand’s badge on the hood.

N.HOOLYWOOD “REBEL FABRIC BY UNDERCOVER” SS20 Capsule Collection

Revealed at N.HOOLYWOOD‘s SS20 runway presentation, the Japanese label has now launched its “REBEL FABRIC BY UNDERCOVER” collaboration.

Inspired by punk styling, the two imprints have crafted a series of items in a stark plaid and playful accents. N.HOOLYWOOD designer Daisuke Obana and UNDERCOVER’s Jun Takahashi came together to craft a tartan plaid-patterned wool reminiscent of items found in Britain’s ’70s punk scene. A coat, fishtail parka, blazer, oversized shirt, slacks and kilted shorts, are all reimagined with three-dimensional pockets and offset seams.

fragment design x OAMC Capsule Collection

Continuing its charitable efforts, Luke Meier and Arnaud Faeh‘s OAMC has now teamed up with fragment design on a seven-piece capsule collection. A percentage of all proceeds will be donated to Charity: Water, a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries.

The fragment design x OAMC is comprised of the signature vintage Peacemaker liner, a vintage U.S. military surplus M-65 field jacket, crewneck and hooded sweatshirts crafted of Italian cotton fleece, long and short-sleeved T-shirts in premium Italian cotton, and a customized surplus Swiss Army bottle. Items found in the capsule are marked boldly with the “PEACEMAKER” stamp with fragment design’s iconic lightning bolt logo in fluorescent and reflective makeovers. The army bottle is sourced from original Swiss Army Volcano Stove sets and laser engraved with dual branding and finished with a cork cap.

Pop Trading Company Spring/Summer 2020 Collection

Amsterdam-based skate label Pop Trading Company has returned with its SS20 collection, which draws heavily from the late ’90s and early ’00s era of skating. A particular reference point is the moment that saw the advent of tech-focused skatewear, and forgotten brands including Axion, Fourstar and Alphanumeric.

Stand-out items include technical jackets, knitwear pieces and staple logo T-shirts. Graphics in the collection range from an emoji-print to a collaboration with legendary artist Delta, along with references to the work of  Vincent Van Gogh plastered on T-shirts and hoodies.

Hyein Seo SAVE YOURSELF Book & Merchandise

Following the release of its Fall/Winter 2019 collection, South Korean label Hyein Seo has now prepared an accompanying book/short film project.

Titled SAVE YOURSELF, the accompaniment looks to capture the transitional emotions and thoughts of youths as they face adulthood. Utilizing photography, poetry, and film, SAVE YOURSELF functions as an evocative illustration. The multimedia collection illustrates an intersection of identity, insecurity and independence that comes together to manifest a rhetorical question that continues from generation to generation. Additionally, Hyein Seo has prepared a black Smoker’s T-shirt, a T-shirt tribute to the first Korean female film director, Park Nam-Ok, and a branding engraved metal cigarette case.
