Doja Cat Is a "Boss Bitch" in Her New 'Birds of Prey' Soundtrack Single
The full compilation will feature Summer Walker, Megan Thee Stallion, Halsey and more.
Following the release of Megan Thee Stallion and Normani’s “Diamonds” from the official Birds of Prey: The Album soundtrack, Doja Cat returns with her own Harley Quinn-inspired song, “Boss Bitch.” The entire soundtrack will release alongside the movie on February 7, and Warner Bros. and Atlantic Records even pushed the album’s announcement with its own individual trailer complete with action-packed unseen footage.
The upcoming compilation is noteworthy because it will feature exclusively female musicians ranging from Summer Walker and Halsey to Saweetie, Baby Goth and more. Doja’s rendition is a club-leaning single that features dubbing synths, unexpected cowbells and an undeniable chorus.
“Yeah, ain’t tryna be cool like you/ Wobblin’ around in your high heel shoes/ I’m clumsy, made friends with the floor/ Two for one, you know a b*tch buy four/ And two left feet, you know I always drop/ First thing a girl did was a bop/ I’m the whole damn cake and a cherry on top/ Shook up the bottom, made a good girl pop,” Doja raps, exuding the confidence and anti-good girl swagger of the film’s protagonist Harley Quinn.
