After years of patiently waiting, Netflix has now shared the second season premiere date for its sci-fi hit Altered Carbon.

Announced via the streaming giant’s social media accounts, the show’s new episodes are set to debut next month. Altered Carbon originally aired in February 2018, and gives off similar vibes to Ghost in the Shell. The cyberpunk series takes a look 350 years into the future, where humans have been reduced to storage devices while the consciousness can be transferred from body to body. One part dystopian sci-fi, one part detective thriller, Altered Carbon will definitely pique the interest of many . What’s more is Anthony Mackie, known for his roles in Captain America, will take on the lead role in season two.

All new eight episodes of Altered Carbon season 2 lands on Netflix February 27, 2020.
